Leeds City athletes were in great form, with virtually all recording pb performances or season’s bests.
In the 800m F race, Dale Worton finished 2nd in a new pb of 1.54.61, earning him a place on the club Senior all time rankings list for the event.
Michael Salter also ran a pb in winning the 1500m C race, knocking over 3 seconds off his previous best with 3.47.61, moving him from 27th, way up to 15th on the all time list.
James Walsh who’s in the form of his life at the moment, won the 5000m A race, remaining in 4th place on the all time rankings, but moving closer to Simon Cahill’s 3rd place with a pb 13.46.25.
In the B race, James Smith knocked over 5 seconds off his previous best with 14.29.50, finishing 4th and moving up from 27th to 19th on the all time list and in 9th, Simon Deakin ran a first 5000m on the track this season clocking 14.40.96.
Fergus Meade and Mike Burrett ran in the 5000m D race, both recording season’s bests with 14.56.00 in 3rd place for Fergus and Mike in 15th with 15.24.86.

In the 3000m steeple chase A race, James Wilkinson was close to his best, finishing 2nd in 8.46.80 and in 7th Ali Mauizbin ran a 10 second pb with 8.59.57, moving above Leeds City Legend Mike Baxter, into 6th place in the all time rankings.
