Extraordinary General Meeting – Leeds City Athletic Club

22nd January, 2012

Dear Member

Extraordinary General Meeting – Leeds City Athletic Club

This letter is to inform you that an Extraordinary General Meeting was held on Tuesday 17th January,  2012 at 8pm in the Indoor Bowls and Athletics Centre at the John Charles Centre for Sport as previously advised.

The proposal to change the club status to that of a registered charity was approved by the 20 attendees. In order to comply with the regulations required to be a registered charity changes must be made to the club constitution.  As the existing constitution states that amendments can only be approved at either an EGM or AGM, a second EGM  meeting is now required. Therefore this letter is to also advise Club members that the proposed changes of the constitution will be brought to a second EGM on 21st February, 2012 at 7.30pm at the same venue for  members to comment and vote on.

All fully paid up members are entitled to vote and those members under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian who may vote on their behalf.

Please try to attend this meeting and make sure that you have your say on the future of your club.

Yours faithfully

Janet Wilkinson

Hon Secretary
