After competing the previous day at Sheffield, Caoimhe Crampton took on another three events today.

In the 60m sprint, she won her first race with 8.40s and later ran 8.44s, repeating the victory.

With those times not far off her recent pb, she was clearly in good form and in the 60m hurdles improved her best to 9.69s, consolidating her U15 all time ranking position.

In the field, Caoimhe registered a solid 7.70m in the shot to round off a good day.

Moving up to the U17 age group age group, Nicola Sawyer made her debut with the 4kg shot, posting a distance of 6.59m, leapt to a best of 4.35m in the long jump and ran her first 300m race in 48.48s.

Also just out of the U15s, Jacob Fincham-Dukes had fantastic day registering three pb performances and putting himself well and truly on the U17 ranking lists.

In the 60m sprint, he shaved 1/100th of a second off his best with 7.70s, good enough for 3rd place in his heat and equal 20th on the all time list.

Matt Campleman moved up one place to 7th on the U17 60m hurdles all time list, with a fine pb of 8.84s to win his heat.In 2nd place, Jacob clocked a fantastic 8.89s, going straight in at 8th on the list, on his debut run.

Both lads took on the long jump, Jacob getting the better of Matt on this occasion with a 6.09m pb in 4th place (22nd all time).Matt will have been disappointed with his 5.87m in 5th place, having been close to 6.50m in the summer.

Connor Morley, now in the U20 age group, was a little below par in the jumps, clearing 1.65m in the high and breaking the sand at 5.21m in the long.
