With many events having one,or in some cases,no competitors from the club,Leeds finished 5th of 6 teams with 311 points,in a match won by Spenborough and District (392)
Women
In the sprints,we had no takers for the 100m,but in the 200m,Georgia Yearby ran a new best with 26.1s to win the A string.The B race featured a busy Fran Coldwell,who was 4th in 27.9s.Georgia,our only 400m runner,took 2nd in the A race wiith 60.0s. We had no athletes in the 800m and in the 1500m & 3000m,Ellie Dooley was our sole representative,finishing 5th in the former with 6.05.8 and winning the later in 12.20.6. Fran Coldwell was our only hurdler on show and took on the one lap event,taking 2nd place in 74.7s. In the throws,Alana Walker was 6th in the A discus with 15.45m and Stacey Evenden 4th in the B with 14.20m.Stacey had her best hammer result for a couple of seasons,finishing 3rd with 29.58 and had a pb putt in the shot,claiming 5th place with 6.84m,both events,featuring no B thrower for the club. In the javelin,Fran Coldwell was 3rd in the A with 24.33m,Stacey winning the B with 17.25m. We had no competitors in the pole vault or triple jump,but in the high jump,Fran was back in action,clearing 1.35m for 3rd place. A seasons best 4.59m for Fran in 2nd place in the long jump,was backed up by Ellie Dooley,scoring valuable points in the B event with 2.55m in 6th place. Unfortunately,neither of the relays featured a Leeds team.

Men
Connor Morley took on the 100m for the first time in a couple of seasons,placing 5th in the A string with a pb of 12.9s.In the B,Andrew Russell,also placed 5th and ran a pb with 13.1s. Danny Brownbill ran a new pb in the A 200m,placing 6th in 23.6s,Matt Campleman taking a second off his previous best in the B with 24.0s in 5th. Both lads ran the 400m,Danny clocking 52.3s for 5th in the A,whilst Matt sliced a big chunk off his pb with 54.4s for 2nd in the B race. In the middle distance events,we had no takers and Sam Bucknall was our only 3000m runner,taking the A race with 9.10.1 in his first run at the distance for a while. Rob Torch was our only hurdler and like Fran,took on the longer event finishing 4th in 63.9s.In the 2000m steeple chase,Rob together with Danny Davis scored well in solo performances.Rob,in his first race at the distance,clocking 6.23.0 and Danny 7.10.2. Our only thrower,Mark Fuszard had quite a day.In the discus,he was just short of his best,with 27.86m in 5th place.His javelin throw of 40.24m,added a metre and a half to his previous best and placed him 4th.The shot was something else,astonishingly,adding over two and a half metres to his pb with a winning putt of 11.46m.For good measure,he equalled his pb in the pole vault,winning the A with a 3.50m clearance,the same height as Andrew Russell who took the B,in our best scoring event of the day. In the jumps,Connor Morley & Andrew Russell scored a pair of 3rds in the high jump,with a solid 1.70m for Connor and a pb equalling 1.65m for Andrew. Matt Campleman partnered Connor in the long jump,placing 2nd in the A with 6.09m,Connor winning the B with a 5.45 jump,close to his best.
