Northern Inter Counties U15/U17 – Leigh 30th July 2011

The Northern Senior 10000m Championships were held in conjunction with this meeting and Mike Burrett was 10th in 32.03.8,a track pb for the distance,Fergus Meade finishing 2 places further back in 32.13.0.Both times feature on the club 10000m all time list in 24th & 31st places respectively.

In the U15 Girls 75m hurdles,Caoimhe Crampton was 3rd in 12.03s and in the 800m,Gemma Keir was 2nd in 2.18.17,just shy of her pb.
U15 Jacob Fincham-Dukes was 5th in the 80m hurdles in 12.22s and added 25cm to his long jump pb,breaking the 6m barrier with 6.01m in 2nd place,moving him from equal 10th up to 4th on the all time list.
Finlay Fuller finished in 6th place with a best jump of 5.62m and Ben Tootle was close to his best in the 400m,finishing 2nd in 55.76s.
Georgia Yearby was just 3/100ths off her pb in the U17 Women’s 400m,finishing 2nd in 59.02s.
Matt Campleman was 2nd in the U17 Men’s long jump with 6.16m and Elliot Hurley looks to be over his injury problems with 5th place,just short of 6m,with 5.95m.
Matt was also 6th in the pole vault with 2.70m and Elliot 3rd in the 100m with 11.73s.
