Kadeena Cox came within a whisker of breaking the club record in the womens 60m, winning with an excellent 7.8s to go equal 2nd on the all time list.

She also ran an indoor best for the 200m, taking first place once more in 25.3s.


Aviva European Indoor Trials and UK Championships – Sheffield EIS, 11-12th Feb 2012 

Kadeena Cox, fresh from her 60m pb earlier in the week, sped to another fine time of 7.84s, but such was the quality of opposition, she didn’t progress beyond the heats.

Katy Marchant, taking on just the one event, wasn’t far outside her club record in the 60m hurdles, finishing 5th in a tough heat with 8.81s.The heat winner…………Jessica Ennis.

In the 3000m, James Wilkinson & Simon Deakin both ran indoor bests for the distance, finishing 5th and 9th with 8.02.95 & 8.10.75 respectively.
