Making her debut at 600m,U11 Grace Plater won,with a time of 2.01.09 and was 3rd in the 75m in 12.43s.
Caoimhe Crampton smashed through the 14s barrier for the first time in the U15 girls 100m,winning in 13.63s and added the 75m hurdles in 12.32s,just outside the time she ran last weekend.Molly Yearby,in her first race,clocked 14.94s in her heat of the 100m,finishing 4th. In her first hurdles race for a couple of seasons,Nicola Sawyer ran 15.69s for 2nd place in her heat.There were two pb performances in third place from Nicola,in the long jump (3.95m) and discus,where she broke 20m for the first time,with 21.13m.

India Wilson,just avoided a 14s clocking when 4th in her heat of the U17 womens 100m (13.99s). In one of her best runs over the distance,Georgia Yearby placed 2nd in the 300m with a time of 41.95s and ran a good first 800m of the season,clocking 2.27.04 in 2nd place. Making her track debut,Ellie Dooley placed 8th in the 800m in 2.51.18 and 5th in the 1500m in 5.36.89.

Owen Savage took 4th place in his heats of the U13 boys 80m (13.55s) & 70m hurdles (18.42s).

U15 Jack Gape destroyed his previous best high jump,adding a huge 9cms to it with a 1.57m clearance to easily win the competition. On a great day for him,he also added two more pb’s for good measure,winning the 80m hurdles in 13.37s and finishing 2nd in the 100m in 12.61s. Louie Hurley also got in on the act with two pb’s,in the 100m,where he was 3rd in his heat (14.04s) and high jump,adding a massive 10cms to his previous best with 1.35m in second place.In the 1500m,Keiran Savage knocked almost 20 seconds off his 1500m pb in 2nd place,with 4.43.85.

Elliot Hurley ran his second fastest 100m time to win the U17 mens event,clocking 11.64s.In the senior event,Tom Lindsay was 2nd in his heat with 12.35s,putt an equal pb in the shot with 8.36m and threw a near pb with the discus (23.37m). M75 Tony Bowman ran one of his recent best 100m times,finishing 4th in his heat in 15.20s and ran his first outdoor 200m of the season in 31.53s and 5th place in his heat.
