Tony Bowman (M75) won his heat of the 100m in 14.85s (-0.4m/s), was 2nd in the semi-final with 14.86s (-0.6m/s) and 5th in the final, improving to 14.69 (-0.6m/s), just outside his season’s best.
In the 200m, Tony was 2nd in his heat in 32.60s (-2.1m/s) and ran close to his season’s best again in the final, finishing 4th in 30.73s (+0.4m/s).
The 80m hurdles European record holder won his heat in 15.32 (-0.7m/s) and the final in 14.99 (+0.5m/s), half a second down on his record. In the 300m hurdles, Tony was 3rd in his heat with 63.57s and claimed Bronze in the final with 57.12s.
After a recent knee operation, Hazel Barker (W50) was unlucky to miss out on a medal in the high jump, finishing 4th with 1.32m, just shy of her season’s best.
